Oh the bad guy in this story....
is such a jerk, you just want to smack him, and he isn't even the attacking aliens!
A smart scientist invents an awesome ship and a pencil pusher tries to take it away. Thankfully, some attacking aliens give the scientist a chance to prove he is the man to run his operation. Now, how to get rid of that nasty pencil pusher... :-)
I believe this story is a sequel or prequel to 'The Finding of Haldgren', but I am not sure which.
Reader does an excellent job.
